JDC 2022: Visuals Case Study
Johnny de City is a DJ and producer from Bratislava, Slovakia, renowned for his innovative mashups and projects like Mashup Avenue and Mashup On The Go.
His musical repertoire spans EDM, House, and Techno genres. Our collaboration began in 2020, marking the start of a dynamic partnership focused on crafting bespoke visual experiences for his live performances. The goal was to create visuals that not only complemented his energetic sets but also elevated the audience's sensory experience.
Beyond graphic visuals, I developed numerous lyric segments synchronized with acapella tracks, meticulously encoded using Timecode technology. This synchronization ensured seamless integration between audio and visual elements, enhancing the overall impact of his shows. These custom visuals have become a staple in Johnny's performances, contributing to memorable moments on stage and enriching the concert atmosphere for his audience.
