DJ EKG is a prominent Slovak DJ, artist manager, event creator, promoter, and music producer.
Since launching his professional career in 2003, he has become a central figure in Slovakia's electronic dance music scene, celebrated for his high-energy sets and exceptional ability to connect with audiences.
In 2021, DJ EKG approached me to develop visuals for his resident event, THE GROOVEBOX, at EPIC CLUB in Prague. His vision emphasized minimalism, aiming for a sleek and modern aesthetic that would complement the club's atmosphere.
The project encompassed two primary components:
Lyric Visuals:
I produced synchronized lyric segments for specific tracks, which the club’s production team integrated using Timecode technology.
This synchronization ensured that the visual and auditory elements were perfectly aligned, enhancing the overall sensory experience.
Minimalist Graphic Visuals:
I designed a series of minimalist and artistic graphic visuals that resonated with the event’s aesthetic, providing a visually cohesive backdrop to DJ EKG’s dynamic performances.
